Murray Goes Down

Update (26-Sep-07): Bloggerheads’ Tim Ireland - who was also involved - has a new website up to document the affair. Plus Slashdot is sniffing around the scandal.

As Pickled Politics has just pointed out, the internet is under threat from a crazy Russian/Uzbeki and his stooge lawyers.

Not really, just that Craig Murray’s website has been taken down by his internet providers. I guess the lawyers were too scared to go after Murray himself have targeted the hosting company instead.

Of course the internet is not really under threat. You can read his original post, accusing Alisher Ussamove of being a rather bad man here: Usmanov, potential Arsenal chairman, is a Vicious Thug, Criminal, Racketeer, Heroin Trafficker and Accused Rapist (for now at least), and I’m sure you can get other stuff elsewhere.

I am a bit worried that when I tried looking up Murray’s website in the google cache I get accused of being a computer virus. Could be because I’m trying to view it from work, so I’ll try when I get home.
